Bernard L. Ouellette, 89 of Goulet Avenue in Claremont, NH died on Tuesday (January 19) at his home. He was born in Lyndonville, VT on October 11, 1920 the son of William and Lea (Jacques) Ouellette and had been a Claremont resident since 1930. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II. Bernard had been employed by Joy Manufacturing Company, Foundry Division for 36 years until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of VFW Post #808 in Claremont, NH. Members of his family include his wife, Pauline (Genewicz) Ouellette, Claremont, NH whom he married on April 19, 1947, two daughters, Elaine Charbono, Enfield, NH; Carol Gregory, West Unity, NH; four grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, three brothers, Leonard Ouellette, Edward Ouellette both of Claremont, NH, Robert Ouellette, Brownsville, VT; one sister, Doris Winot, St. Johnsbury, VT; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Ernest Ouellette, Alfred Ouellette, Armand Ouellette and one sister Esther Mills. There will be no visiting hours. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 Am on Monday (April 19, 2010) in St. Mary’s Church. Committal Services will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, Sullivan, 2 Wall Street, Manchester, NH 03101 or Connecticut Valley Homecare Hospice, 958 John Stark Highway, Newport, NH 03773.
